Formerly located in the main hospital building, the Heart Program has relocated its inpatient component into Saint John's new Chan Soon-Shiong Center for Life Sciences- a four-story, high-tech patient services building which now serves as the home of Saint John's Critical Care Center.

Occupying the entire second floor of the Chan Soon-Shiong Center for Life Sciences, the Critical Care Center is a world-class facility designed to treat the most seriously ill individuals in a technically outstanding, patient-friendly environment that incorporates the latest advances in cutting edge care. As part of this new center, Saint John's Heart Program offers exceptional capabilities for the treatment and care of cardiac patients.

Our superior outcomes, advanced technology and highest quality care have made Saint John's Heart Program a leader in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of heart disease. We attract some of the top internists, cardiologists and surgeons in the country; our board-certified surgeons have trained at the nation's top academic medical centers. In addition, our highly experienced critical care nurses are renowned in the community for their exceptional care and compassion.

Our medical staff is multi-lingual and in addition to serving the entire Westside, we are especially proud to serve the Hispanic community throughout Los Angeles, with physicians and staff who are fluent in Spanish.

Among the broad range of cardiovascular services we provide are screenings, diagnosis, interventions, surgery and electrophysiology. We also conduct clinical research studies investigating the latest treatments in cardiac care.  These services, along with other maintenance programs such as the pacemaker clinic, are located I the Diagnostic Center on the first floor of the Howard Keck Center, adjacent to the atrium by the elevators.
