Melanoma Program

The Melanoma Program at Saint John’s Health Center offers comprehensive treatment for this deadly form of skin cancer. Cutting-edge research is performed under the umbrella of the John Wayne Cancer Institute (JWCI) at Saint John’s. Research into medications designed to combat metastatic melanoma in the liver as well as new initiatives in basic and clinical cancer research designed to offer patients new treatment options are being explored.

Multidisciplinary Treatment Planning

A skilled team of surgical specialists work closely with Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, dermatologists, nutritionists, gastroenterologists and radiologists. This multidisciplinary skilled team discusses each patient case and tailors the treatment plan that may incorporate most advanced surgical procedures, enhanced diagnostic tools and medical treatments.
